Laserfiche’s latest version of Import Agent 12 has been updated with some unique and useful improvements. We think they deserve futher review.
Let’s take a look!
Key New Features & Enhancements:
On-Demand Profile Scheduling: Manually run import profiles on demand to trigger immediate, ad-hoc document processing. Notice the “Manage import rate” check box!
With this new profile configuration, if it is enabled, you’ll see a new button on the Import Agent Profile Manager toolbar. You’ll see a button called “Start new import”.
Configurable Email Notifications: Receive automatic email alerts when imports fail (such as due to invalid user credentials).
Import Throttling: This controls the rate of document imports to prevent workflow bottlenecks and performance strain on your system.
Multi-Repository Cloud Support: Seamlessly connect and support multi-repository Laserfiche Cloud environments. Your Import Agent license will need to be
Expanded Token Support: Laserfiche has added a new Windows file owner token for better tracking and metadata assignment during import.
Expanded OCR Language Support: Additional languages including Vietnamese, Hebrew, Arabic, and Thai have been added.
These new additions to Import Agent will give Laserfiche administrators some great new choices when processing documents into a Laserfiche repository.
